Summary Boymarvel (2010)

Derek is a young boy without a father who is the man of the house. With this responsibility for someone so young, Derek finds it hard to cope with. To manage, Derek becomes a superhero as this gives him the confidence that many young boys lack. Boy-marvel is Derek's alter-ego, going around town helping old ladies with their groceries to helping his mum with chores. Most people in town tale Boy-marvel seriously except for Clint, the Bully. After many bouts with Clint, Derek realizes that Boy-marvel is great but he does not need to be someone else in order to have the confidence to take care of his town and family. Standing up to Clint, Derek ultimately become happy with being Derek.
