Thor destroys the Cosmic cube, shattering it into pieces and sending them to the farthest corners of the universe, so that no one entity shall ever again possess it's ultimate power. But his evil brother Loki gathers dust from the cube and begins to clone his own cube, capturing 2 of the X-men and harnessing them to his evil cloning device. When Iron Man learns of the plan he assembles the heroes: Thor, SpiderMan, Wolverine, Black Widow, Bruce Banner and Hawkeye to find the pieces of the scattered cube- it's their only hope to combat Loki and his cloned cube. The heroes split into teams to recover the Cube fractals- but discover that some of their worst enemies have already found the fractals. They must battle their own nemesis for the cube fractals. Bernie LaPlante is having a rough time. He's divorced, his ex-wife hates him, and has custody of their son. The cops are setting a trap for him, then to top it all, he loses a shoe while rescuing passengers of a plane crash. Being a thief who is down on his luck, he takes advantage of the rescue, but then someone else claims credit for it.

Bernie LaPlante is an amoral man and a hustler. He is facing criminal charges. His wife decides to limit his access to their son because he doesn't keep his promises. While on his way to his son's birthday, a plane crashes, and he is nearby. He goes on board to steal what he can but in the process saves some people, one of them being television reporter Gale Gayley. She doesn't get a good look at him but someone gets a photo of him which isn't clear. She then mounts a campaign to find him which includes a reward of a million dollars. Before hearing of this, Bernie tells his experience to John Bubber. He also says that he doesn't want any recognition. Bernie's trial is taking place and he, upon hearing of the million dollars, thinks that he hit the mother lode but before he can claim it, John does, and Bernie is sent to jail. John then grows close to Gale. Bernie, who stole her purse, sells what's in it, and when word of this reaches her, she thinks he is holding this over John, and all sorts of chaos ensues.

The city and the press were so grateful to have "THE TERROR" stopped that O'Brien was christened,"HERO", which he feels that he doesn't deserve. Moon was confined to a psychiatric facility; he tried to escape in one of their ambulances and it went off a cliff and he was believed to be dead. Three years later, when a theater that the city spent millions on renovating was opened, one of the guests, a woman, disappeared. She would be found later near the theater, dead. And she appears to have been killed in the same manner that Simon Moon killed his victims. While everyone believes that Simon Moon is dead, O'Brien is a bit skeptical. The mayor then schedules a press conference wherein he expects O'Brien to tell them that the killer is not Simon Moon. But O'Brien doesn't believe that is so, especially when he gets the medical examiners report. The Mayor convinces O'Brien that it would be in the city's best interest if they continue to believe that Moon is dead, so that no will try to copycat him. While O'Brien agrees, he is wondering if he is ready to face him again.

Meanwhile, his garage mechanic boss is trying to set up a race team using gangland money, which implicates our driver as he is to be used as the race team's main driver. Our hero gets more than he bargained for when he meets the man who is married to the woman he loves.

In Los Angeles, a mysterious driver is a man of few words who works as a garage mechanic for his only friend Shannon. He also moonlights as a stuntman in Hollywood films and driver of getaway cars in heists. One day, he helps his neighbor Irene, whose husband is in prison, and her son Benicio and he falls in love with her. However, a few days later her husband Standard Gabriel is released from prison and they meet each other in the building. Standard is pressed by the criminal Cook to rob a pawn shop to pay for the protection he had in prison, and the driver decides to help him by driving the getaway car. However, the heist does not work as planned, and now the driver finds he has to protect Irene and Benicio from mobsters.

This film is about a 'driver' (Ryan Gosling) who works at a garage fixing cars, but also drives stunt cars in movies. He also does some getaway driving to earn extra cash. He gets close with a woman, Irene, and her child, who is his neighbor. Her husband gets released from prison and and owes some people money, so the 'driver' ends up doing a job with him. But it goes wrong and the 'driver' ends up in a crime he didn't want to be involved in. Can he protect the people that he now cares about?

A young man, who shall be referred to as the Driver, has several jobs all related to vehicles, and all at which he is extremely good: movie stunt driver, mechanic, and getaway driver for criminals. In the latter job, he drives, no more and no less, the no more including not carrying a gun, but he takes his job seriously in making a clean getaway while keeping his clients safe during their time in the car. The Driver's mechanic boss, Shannon, who often gets him and oversees his stunt jobs, wants to expand their horizons by getting into the racing business. Shannon convinces a mob acquaintance, Bernie Rose, and Bernie's associate Nino to finance this venture after Bernie meets the Driver. Concurrently, the Driver starts to fall for one of his neighbors, Irene, and her young son, Benicio. Irene's husband, Standard Gabriel, is a petty criminal currently in prison. Solely to protect Irene and Benicio, the Driver gets involved in Standard's criminal life once Standard is released from prison. That criminal life takes an unexpected turn which threatens not only the Driver's relationship with Irene and Benicio and his possible new life as a race car driver, but his life, period, as Standard ends up unwittingly being connected back to Rose and Nino.

Defined entirely by his profession, by day, the nameless phlegmatic driver is a mechanic and a daredevil stuntman for high-paced action movies, but by night, he's a masterful getaway wheelman for criminals. But when an unexpected encounter with Irene, the Driver's vulnerable neighbour and mother of a young son, stirs a spontaneous affection, things will soon take a turn for the worse, as a reluctant job with her ex-con husband ends up in a bloody mess. Now, on the run, blood-stained, and with a bag crammed with the Mafia's cash, the Driver not only has to save himself, but also to protect the defenceless Irene and her child. The sci-fi television series "Galaxy Quest", which took place aboard the intergalactic spaceship NSEA Protector, starred Jason Nesmith as suave Commander Peter Quincy Taggart, Gwen DeMarco as sexy communications person Lt. Tawny Madison (a role which consisted solely of repeating what the computer stated, much to Gwen's chagrin), Shakespearean trained Sir Alexander Dane as alien Dr. Lazarus, Fred Kwan as engineer Tech Sergeant Chen, and Tommy Webber as child pilot Laredo. Eighteen years after the series last aired, it lives on in the hearts of its rabid fans. However, it lives on in infamy for its stars, who have not been able to find meaningful acting work since. Their current lives revolve around cashing in on however those roles will afford, which usually entails attending fan conventions or worse, such as electronic store openings. Only Jason seems to relish his lot in life, until he finds out that his co-stars detest him because of his superior attitude as "the Commander", and much of the public considers him a laughing stock. Their lives change when Jason is approached by who he thinks are convention fans asking for help. They are in reality an alien race called Thermians, led by Mathesar, who have modeled their existence after the series, which they believe to be real. When Jason and then the rest of his co-stars (along with Guy Fleegman, who was killed off before the opening credits in only one episode) go along with the Thermians, Jason's co-stars who believe they are off to yet another paying gig, they learn that they have to portray their roles for real. Without screenwriters to get them to a happy and heroic ending, they have to trust that their play acting will work, especially in dealing with the Thermians' nemesis, General Sarris. Guy in particular fears that he will go the way his character did on the series. But when they run across technical issues that they as actors didn't care anything about during the filming of the series and thus now don't know how to deal with, they need to find someone who should know what to do.

The sci-fi adventure series "Galaxy Quest" took place aboard the intergalactic spaceship NSEA Protector. Colonel Hogan leads a ragtag band of POW's caught behind German lines in this popular television comedy. The bumbling Germans give Hogan and his crew plenty of opportunities to sabotage their war efforts. Colonel Klink is more concerned with having everything run smoothly and avoiding any trouble with his superiors (especially anything that might result in his being reassigned and sent to the front) than with being tough on Hogan and his fellow prisoners.

Luft Stalag 13 is widely considered one of the toughest POW camps in all Germany, even though it is run by a very inept officer in the person of Colonel Wilhelm Klink who also has serving under him the equally inept Seargent Hans Schultz. In over 100 attempts there has never been a successful escape, but that's because the inmates never want to leave. This is because the camp is located in a very strategic part of Germany and a secret base under the camp is a very successful espionage and sabotage unit that also helps escaped prisoners get back to England. The unit is run by United States Army Air Corps Colonel Robert Hogan and serving under him are radio man Seargent James Kinchloe of the US Army, demolition expert Seargent Andrew Carter also of the US Army, RAF corporal Peter Newkirk (an expert pickpocket, safe-cracker and voice artist) and French corporal Louis LeBeau (cook and sneak). The only ones who suspect anything about the operation are Klink's superior General Albert Burkhalter (who was always threatening to send Klink to the Russian front for all his slip ups) and Gestapo major Wolfgang Hochstetter.
